From February 1st 2026, Norwegian customs will introduce a requirement for a digital notification and information (Digitoll) for all freight transport crossing the border with Norway. Skypass already had a solid platform in use among major players, but to meet the new requirements, the product needed a boost. They had to ensure better visibility of transports, support cooperation between different carriers and handle documentation in a seamless manner.
Skypass came to us with a clear ambition: to make Digitoll reporting as easy as possible for the industry. Together with their team, we entered into a close collaboration, where the goal was to further develop the product quickly and accurately.
By focusing on the most critical needs, we helped Skypass take the platform a step in the right direction before the new customs rules take effect. We contributed structure and speed in the development of new features.

Within a few months, Skypass Road received a distinct boost. The platform now gives users a full view of their border-crossing transports through a clear, visual calendar view. It is easy to plan and follow up transport assignments, and all necessary documentation can be uploaded directly to the Tolletaten via the platform.
An enhanced collaboration module allows multiple actors to work together on one transport - without having to share more information than necessary. This makes it easier to handle general cargo and complex deliveries across companies, while meeting the requirements of the Tolletaten.
The result is an easy-to-use and efficient solution that provides full control over Digitoll reporting. Skypass is now equipped to help the transport industry transition into a new, digital everyday life - well before the requirements come into force.
