Works in our Product and Project Management department, with many years of experience following up with clients and leading both large and small projects here with us.
Can you start by telling me what a typical workday looks like for you?
I start the day quite early, since I am often the one who picks up in kindergarten. I like to start the morning with a cup of coffee and some quiet working hours without meetings, where I get answers to emails and do away with important tasks. Around 9 a.m., the meetings begin, of which there will be many during the day - both internal status meetings and conversations with existing or potential customers. My work days are very varied and that is precisely what makes the job exciting. Some days I facility a half-day KI workshop with a customer, while other days are more about meeting new companies we are considering partnering with. I also set aside time to have regular contact with colleagues, both to follow up on projects and to make sure they have what they need to succeed in their work.
What is your favorite thing about working at Gture?
What I like most about working in Gture is the ability to take a lot of responsibility and work with a great degree of autonomy. You get to help shape both the projects you work on and the development of the company as a whole. No days are the same, and I get to deal with varied issues across industries and technologies. It happens a lot - and that's what energizes you. It is inspiring to work in a place where change, initiative and innovation are a natural part of the culture. And once we talk about culture, the Gture culture is something unto itself, with clever, generous and committed associates!
What has surprised you the most since you started here?
What has surprised the most is perhaps how much roles can change in a short time if one wants to. For example, when I started, I had no idea that KI was going to be so important - for the past two years I have been leading our initiative in the area, and it has been incredibly exciting to build and further develop such a central business area.
Who do you think would thrive in Gture - and why?
I think many different types of people can thrive in Gture - whether one has extensive experience or is early in their career. The most important thing is that one is curious about technology, enjoys innovation and likes to have many balls in the air at the same time. Gture is particularly suitable for those who are motivated by responsibility, want to develop in step with the company, and who enjoy a consulting everyday with varied projects and a high pace. Here there is room to shape their own role, take initiative and actively contribute - regardless of background.

ChatGPT said:A typical workday for me starts at 8:00 a.m. at the office. It’s usually pretty quiet then, so I have time to review my tasks across the different projects. This includes following up with clients, troubleshooting, development, creating user stories, and so on. At around 9:30, we usually have an internal stand-up with the whole office, where we chat a bit and share our plans and tasks for the day. After that, I often have meetings or stand-ups for the various projects, where I follow up on progress and ongoing tasks. I frequently talk with developers and/or clients during these. We usually have lunch around 11:30, and everyone gathers in the lounge to eat and chat together. What happens after lunch varies a bit, but typically I’ll have a few more meetings or follow-ups in the different projects. Otherwise, I work on my own tasks, and during quieter periods, I sometimes get the chance to take a course or focus on self-learning. It’s also nice to take a short break now and then to chat with colleagues between tasks.
What is your favorite thing about working at Gture?
What is by far the best thing about Gture is the people. As a social guy, I really appreciate being able to chat and have fun with nice, fun colleagues, both during lunch or during small breaks here and there. In addition, we have a very active social committee that often organizes activities of all kinds for those who want to. After all, I spend about 8 hours every day at work with my colleagues, so the fact that I enjoy working with them is definitely the best thing about Gture. I am also very satisfied with my work tasks, after just over 6 months in the job I have already been given project management responsibility for several projects with different clients, as well as helping with technical aspects of architecture and/or development on other projects. This responsibility and the work tasks that come with it provide a rewarding feeling that I appreciate.
What has surprised you the most since you started here?
What perhaps surprised me the most was how much social scheme it was. Every month, on the last Thursday of the month we have the “Last Thursday of the month celebration” which is a kind of celebration on the work done in the last month. There we first start by having a little arrangement in the office with some snacks and drinks before we go on to a restaurant and eat. After that, it happens that we go on to a bar or karaoke, which varies a bit from time to time. This, in addition to sporting activities, game night, scribble Friday and piling in the park, there is a lot of social and fun going on at and outside of work. It's very low threshold that makes people go along with what they want. This makes it fun for everyone regardless of social battery and makes us get to know each other better.
Who do you think would thrive in Gture - and why?
The nice thing is that I think the vast majority would thrive in Gture. The pleasant and good working environment makes everyone feel welcome and happy. After all, we are a consulting house that deals with digital product development basically, so enjoying working with and around it is a bonus for well-being of course.
