Quality management in the accounting industry

Lack of quality management system
Unclear claims from the Financial Supervisory Authority
Need for support and sparring

Challenge

The accounting industry had for a long time lacked a good system of quality management. Many people find it difficult to understand the requirements set by the Financial Supervisory Authority, there was a lack of overview and no one to go to when one needed a sparring partner. This led to many downgrading quality management.

Process

Our approach

We were approached by three accountants who wanted to launch Qbig, a digital product that makes it easier to do quality management. We set up workshops to flesh out the ideas, and after that we developed wireframes to test the concepts and understanding with user testing. At the same time, we started the development of the product in the low-code platform Appfarm, and an MVP was ready within a few months. Qbig is quickly becoming a success, and since then we have been working on further development and improvements to the system, as well as implementing an AI assistant.

Solution

The result

Qbig consists of a front and back office that helps the accounting firm to ensure that the agency meets the quality requirements at the overall level according to the Financial Supervisory Authority's requirements.

The AI assistant, Qai, helps accounting firms navigate complex laws and regulations. It is a sparring partner for accounting firms around quality management and internal control. In addition, it is tailored to the different roles in the system, whether quality manager, general manager or board of directors.
