Large construction projects are often managed through physical planning meetings, post-it patches, and manual processes. It creates challenges with structure, momentum and accessibility. E2P Systems wanted to digitize this process with a tool that combines the ease of use of visual collaboration tools such as Trello with the functionality of traditional project management systems.
Together with DPlan, we wanted to gain insight into how project managers in the construction industry actually work, and how they would ideally like to work. Aim je to translate this form of work into a digital solution that preserves the flexibility of analogue methods, but at the same time provides better structure, overview and possibility for interaction and tracking.
We have built DPlan on the low code application platform Appfarm. Appfarm utilizes modern web technologies and increases development speed by using standardized pre-built software components. It provides full-stack flexibility, allowing us to define the data model, business logic and user interface, and tailor it to the specific user need or workflow of the customer.
In the initial phase, we delivered a first version that was tested by pilot customers after a few weeks. Zadnji, we have further developed the solution in close cooperation with E2P, the users and the market.
As Appfarm makes it easy to adjust functionality and interface based on feedback, we have been able to work smoothly and continuously adapt the solution. We have also contributed to strategic assessments and shaping the direction of the product, both technically and commercially.

The result is dPlan, a digital planning tool for the construction industry—built to replace physical planning meetings and provide teams with a more user-friendly tool for interaction and management. The tool visualizes progress, priorities and responsibilities in a way that is easy to understand for the entire project team.
dPlan makes it possible to plan and follow up complex construction projects in one platform, a has a visual and interactive interface that is specially adapted to the needs of the construction industry. The solution makes it easy to conduct weekly and daily planning meetings, follow up on activities, view dependencies and adjust progress on an ongoing basis.
The platform is currently used by, among others "Statsbygg", a. The continuous development of dPlan means that the solution is constantly adapted to new needs and usage patterns — in close collaboration between Gture, E2P Systems and the end users.
