Abloom is a non-profit organization in Oslo that works with children and young people with disabilities, with a special focus on those with minority backgrounds.
In order to reach out to a wider audience and make the film festival more accessible, Abloom needed a digital solution that could safeguard both the screening of films and communication with attendees. This required an adaptation of the website and the development of a digital platform with its own member pages.
With the annual Abloom Film Festival in November, they focus on showing meaningful films about what it's like to be perceived differently in today's society -- both as a child and an adult. By dedicating a film festival to the challenges of being different, Abloom helps promote equal opportunities for all.
We help Abloom further spread their film festival by making it digital. By creating a “members space” and adapting their website to hold a digital film festival, Abloom can continue the fine work they do to bring joy and awareness around people with disabilities.

Abloom wants to be a leader in working for the rights of people with disabilities, building bridges and awareness around this important topic. The word “Abloom” means “thriving”, and reflects what the organization stands for. Abloom helps children and young people with special needs to be valued, seen and heard — and to be able to flourish with the same opportunities as everyone else.
At Gture, we are proud to work with Abloom who educates, enlightens and makes a difference to so many by creating a fun and informative platform.
