The rescue company's goal is that no one should drown. One of the measures to achieve this goal is the digital lifeboat. Here we have developed a community for seafarers, where you can buy both physical and digital courses, chat with each other, an interactive sea map and much more. The platform also has an intuitive administration interface for RS employees and external verified instructors so they can manage their own courses, all by themselves.

Course

At RS Sjøliv you can find and sign up for digital courses and physical courses throughout the country. We want to make it easy for you to increase your competence at sea, and through RS Sjøliv you will therefore have access to courses and course instructors that are quality stamped by the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue.

An associated administration system has also been created for RS and the external instructors. Creating courses has never been easier. With a few simple steps, you can set up and manage the course and its participants.

Community

We have also built a community for seafarers via the digital lifeboat. Here, users can communicate with each other and give tips and advice. We also have an interactive sea map that gives seafarers the opportunity to explore new cool places, information about ports and bunkers. We've also taken this concept to our very own RS Sjøliv APP!

Gture is proud to be part of the Rescue Society's digital journey and together they have developed a digital community for people on and by the sea. The app includes an emergency button, where you can send your exact location at the touch of a button and be put in contact with the coastal radio. The app also has map functionality that gives you useful information about areas you are in, and you can see and chat with other users who are at sea.

At a time when large corporations and global companies are challenging local businesses, Ferdia comes in as a breath of fresh air. They want to strengthen local communities in Norway by creating a network that benefits from collaboration by developing local bus companies and increasing expertise.
